ACWA Power announces start of Initial Commercial Operation for Group 1 of Sudair Solar Photovoltaic Project

ACWA Power Company announced that it has received from the Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC) on 27 September 2023 the Initial Commercial Operation certificate of Group 1 of Sudair Solar Photovoltaic Project in Saudi Arabia.

The company declared that Group 1 represents 50% of the total capacity of the project, which will reach 1,500 MW upon completion, and it expects the financial impact to be reflected in Q4 2023 onwards.

It is worth mentioning that ACWA Power owns a net stake of 35% in Sudair One Renewable Energy Company.
